1) Sketchbook Assignment #2
Imaginary Lives: If you had five other lives to lead, what would you do in each of them?
I would be a full time artist, travel photographer, architect, Olympic athlete, dancer or a beach bum on an island off the coast of Africa.
You might be a scuba diver, a cop, a writer of children's books, a football player, a coach, a scientist, a doctor, a Peace Corp Worker, a fisherman, a soap-opera star, a drummer. WHATEVER occurs to you, jot it down. Do not overthink this exercise. The point of these lives is to have fun in them- more fun than you might be having in this one.
Look at your list and select one- what can you do right now as a high school student to get you toward that goal?
GO CONFIDENTLY IN THE DIRECTION OF YOUR DREAMS! LIVE THE LIFE YOU'VE IMAGINED *Henry David Thoreau
2) Composition Technique Assignment
You will create a word document and copy/paste b/w photographs into your word document that are good examples of each composition techniques. Then next to each photo you will write at least one complete sentence of WHY you chose this photo and WHY it is a good example of *** technique.
